MINISTER SISULU HANDS OVER N2 GATEWAY PHASE ONE

TO NEW OWNERS AND LAUNCH PHASE TWO, JULY 18, 2006

Following the completion of Phase One of the N2 Gateway, Minister of Housing Lindiwe Sisulu will officially hand over the completed phase to the new owners.

Accompanied by all Housing MECs and housing stakeholders, the Minister will also launch PHASE TWO, which is a Credit Linked Housing partnership between First National Bank and the Department of Housing.

NB: BRIEF MEDIA TOUR OF N2 GATEWAY PROJECT

Members of the media are requested to assemble at 08:30 am at Langa Community Hall for a background briefing and a tour to other areas that are part of the N2 Gateway Project. 

The Bus will depart at 09:00 am for District Six, Delft 1 and 2 and back to Joe Slovo for the official programme.  Political principals will also address a Media Briefing at the end of the official ceremony.
